Fever and Rash...

Been rather sick since Thursday, with occasional high fever (notice the wet towel on my head and the fever patch on the forehead). Daddy and mummy took me to KK for a checkup on Friday morning.

On Monday morning at 430am, I woke up with measles-looking rashes all over my face and body. Daddy panicked and woke everyone up then rushed me to KK hospital...duh 2 visits to KK in one weekend. Luckily the rashes are not that obvious in this photograph captured while I was waiting for my turn in the hospital.

Sentosa Outing

The week started out with a nice trip to Sentosa with daddy and mummy. Upon checking into Amara Sanctuary and finishing my milk, we headed straight out to tour the island. Most exciting place has to be the underwater world...somehow i get excited with all the fishes around me :) Here are some photographs of the Sentosa outing.

(Photo on the left) Before leaving home at Sunday morning, mummy dolled me up nicely in Christian Dior top and pants from Gap...which daddy insisted was alittle too short.

Testing the king-sized bed upon checking into Amara Sanctuary Resort. And in the bus which was our main mode of transport around the island.

A flower where i rest upon....

This is a new addition to the range of 'thrones' I have where I can comfortably sit my little buns on.
Daddy got this from a toy shop in United Square. It has two inflatable semi-circular support rings beneath the flower cushion that I sit on. Comes with 4 little soft toys as well. Don't I look absolutely adorable in it?

Another photo update...

Ok...this is another photo update, as requested.

All dressed up and ready for grocery shopping with mummy at Compass-point.

Me in my yellow Bumbo seat!

Comfortably buckled up in my bouncer and making faces at daddy.

This is my very own desktop wallpaper. Professionally done by my dad's very good friend who happens to be a graphic designer.

Pretty in Gap

I am donning Gap's last season's
colourful Bohemain knit dress.
Am I not a fashionista? ;)

Swimming in a tub.

Here are photos and a short videoclip of me during a Baby Swimming (Hydrotherapy) session. It was quite scary initially with that float clipped around my neck but soaking in the water calmed me down rather quickly. Not to forget the Chinese nursery rhymes sung by the PRC lady at the hydrotherapy centre helped... tonnes to keep me quiet, no point competing with her actually :)

Some photos of me!

Here are some photos of me taken recently after shower and dressing up to go shopping at Vivocity and T3.

Looking oh-so-chubby after shower. No wonder Mummy calls me "Double Cheeseburger"! :P

This is my Paris Hilton outfit -- funky top and denim mini-skirt with dangling pearls. And look at those cutesy "Little Dancer" socks which Auntie Hannah bought for me from the US! (Pardon my thunder thighs.)

Here I am in High Street fashion -- I'm all decked out in Topshop flaming red top and black oh-sooo-skin-tight leggings. Yes, I am certainly at the forefront of fashion!
This is my pensive look as the weather is getting to me. That's why Mummy got me this spaghetti-strap top. My sexiest outfit to date!

My Full Month Baby Celebration

Here're all the updates after a long long time. Obviously I am making Daddy and Mummy really really busy fussing over me, hence this late update with lots of pictures to share.

My full-month celebration cake "Fit For a Princess" specially ordered from Canele Patisserie.

My super glam mummy and me. And Auntie Joey carrying me.

Day 10

It's a gloomy Sunday afternoon today and I am not exactly in a good mood. My umblical cord dropped out on Wednesday night, 6 days after my birth and that kinda sent daddy and mummy panicking all over the place...mummy called my doctor that very night, woke him up... just to be told "its normal"...so much for first-time parents.

Here I am before lunch in my mummy's arms,

and in my day-bed...

Day 3

After a few nights stay in the hospital, I was finally discharged together with mummy on Sunday afternoon. Came back home at around 5pm and was placed into my crib for the first time. Feeling was...good since I proceeded to sleep for another few more hours. BUT...stupid daddy had to wrap me up like I was wrapped up in the hospital. That resulted in a high fever about 8 hours upon reaching home. Both daddy and mummy rushed me into the children's emergency in KK hospital...duh...2 hospital visits in barely 4 days of my birth. Was admitted and placed under observation until Tuesday afternoon.

Pictures of me in my 2nd hospital visit.

Day 1

Breastmilk is all I know and all I care about! XD...I am beginning to torture my mummy! Looks like I lost some weight after a few hours and certainly need to put it back on FAST!

More photos to come...

Finally...I am out!

I made my mum scream like hell for an hour or so...made my dad panic and almost got his hands ripped off by mum. The doctor obviously took pity on them and decided on a c-section to get me out as soon as possible.

Came out of my mum's tummy at around 11pm on 21 Feb 2008, that's the last day of the Lunar New Year and the Chinese Valentine's Day...what a day to celebrate my birthday! I greeted my dad outside the operation ward and was escorted by him into the nursery. Official weight at birth was a whopping 3.39kg! and measured 49cm in length.

at Week 40...still hanging tough in there

Gender: Female...hopefully that doesn't change
Weight: estimated 2.8kg
Looks: from the scans...I guess I have inherited my dad's lips, chin and perhaps the forehead as well. Hope I dont get my mummy's nose (that's what she says and hopes for) but hopefully i'll inherit my mummy's lovely eyes, and in future, her butt! XD
Position in my mummy's tummy: Right at the exit but still comfy in there
Favourite past-time: kicking here and there...squaring up the tummy occasionally if I feel like it.
Most tormenting moments in the tummy: when my dad sings 'when the children cry'.
